ANNOUNCES
2023 Award Winners Announcement

The Opera Foundation for young Australians is delighted to announce the Winners of the 2023 LAdy Fairfax La Scala Opera, Michael Byrne Vienna State Opera, Lady Galleghan London, Sundell American Institute of Musical Studies, Berlin Music Opera Awards and the 2023 Deutsche Oper Berlin Opera Award Finalists.

We are thrilled to provide six young Australians this year with the opportunity to progress their careers. The quality of the applicants this year was outstanding and the Adjudicators had a difficult role in making their decisions. Our Awards are unique in nature therefore Winners are selected for their suitability to each Award.

In 2023 the Foundation opened up the Awards to Australian Citizens based anywhere in the world and is celebrating 60 years of providing these opportunities.
